Cosmic Inchie

This inchie was fun to work on. There were lots of bits and pieces on my work table that fit right into the theme. I hope you enjoy the dimension on this one. I know you would have enjoyed watching me glue my fingers together!

redefining retirement

Today I painted a fish. It was a tiny fish. So tiny I had trouble holding on to it. I found it on the floor when I swept up the spilled cat food. My inchie theme for this week is FISHY and the rest is history. Not everyone would find painting tiny fish entertaining. I realize that. But the humor in it has made me giggle all morning. One can only guess what I will find to fill the afternoon. Bills, floors, windows, laundry...see why painting fish is so appealing?

Feburary's electifying inchies

I made an effort this time to move out of my comfort zone and do a little painting, collage and stitching. I hope you enjoy the results.

Getting comfortable with collage

This is an address booklet made from the pages created by fellow stampers. I did some collage on the front and back covers. I had a little problem with the magazine paper buckling but will go back to my Collage Lab book and redo those lessons to see if I can figure out what I did incorrectly. All in all I am very pleased with the process and the colors.

Inchie monday for January 31st

I just fell in love with this little guy who seemed so happy to be having his picture taken. You can almost hear him giggle. I wonder how many times he had to be admonished to stand still. His name was Edward and this picture was taken in 1902.
I thought about many ways I could alter the picture but decided it stands alone in its simplicity and mirth. I did add just a pinch of color to his tie.
Between computer problems and the blizzard of 2011 I have been hard pressed to get this done. I am very thankful to Edward for his laughter.
